En mi opinión, y son 30 años de experiencia, hay que procurar que los niños no trabajen mas de media jornada, es decir, una sesión de 4 horas, con descansos y paradas incluidas.

Concreta y determina las fotografías que tengas que hacer, no satures a lo niños con sucesivas versiones de cada toma. Tenlo tu claro para no trasladar el problema a los modelos. Nunca son profesionales ni adultos para forzarlos a trabajar cuando no están por la labor. Si el número de fotos que tienes preparado es alto, te arriesgas a no terminar, pues hay que saber parar cuando el niño dice NO.

Si tu shooting se va a alargar todo el día, coge un modelo para la mañana y otro para la tarde. Económicamente te saldrá igual, pues sumaras en cualquier caso dos sesiones, pero tendrás a un modelo infantil descansado y dispuesto a darlo todo en cada toma de la mañana y de la tarde, pues esa es su naturaleza. Al no dedicar tiempo para la hora de comer, dispondrás de más tiempo para trabajar con el modelo, tiempo que tú podrás distribuir como mas convenga, haciendo pausas entre toma y toma por ejemplo. Además, tendrás más variedad de modelos en tu catalogo, y en términos de resultados, no te jugaras todo a una carta.

Como profesionales, no siempre la producción depende de nosotros, en muchos casos nos viene dada por el cliente y ocurre que a veces se cumplan estas premisas y otras por imperativos de producción, no es posible.
